# The daily report on Discord

> Once a day, yesterday in numbers: players for your community, TPS and tick time for your team. New in 0.2.4, off by default.

The `reports` module, `reports.toml`. **Off until you turn it on** (`enabled = true` in `reports.toml`, or the Settings screen; a restart applies it). It posts through Keystone's own Discord bot (the [Discord](/docs/keystone/discord) module must be set up).

## What it says

Once a day at `time` (`08:00`) on the clock of `time-zone` (blank: the server machine's), an embed about the 24 hours before:

| Field | What |
|---|---|
| `online` | Players online on average and at most |
| `unique` | How many different players joined |
| `new` | How many joined for the first time |
| `playtime` | Time played, everybody added up |
| `votes` | Votes that arrived |
| `tickets` | Tickets opened |
| `tps` | TPS on average and at the worst minute |
| `mspt` | Milliseconds per tick on average and at the worst minute |
| `restarts` | How many times the server started |
| `uptime` | How long it has been up |

## Two channels, two audiences

- **`channel`** — for players. By default `fields` shows `online`, `unique`, `new`, `playtime`, `votes` and `uptime`: nothing about how the machine copes and nothing about staff work. No addresses, no names.
- **`team-channel`** — optional, for the team, with everything (`team-fields`).
- Each is a channel id; blank posts nothing there. `colour` and `team-colour` colour the embeds; `language` picks the language (blank: `language.default`), from the server's language files (`reports.*` keys).

## How it measures

Once a minute it writes players online, TPS and tick time into its own table (bots never count); joins, votes, new tickets and starts are counted as they happen. Everything is kept eight days. The report is worked out off the server thread, and it is written once a day even when the server restarts around the time. `/keystone report` (`keystone.reports`) posts one now, for the last 24 hours.
