Who you are dealing with

The websites, applications, game servers and community spaces under the name STYGION are run by Adam Jurica from the Czech Republic.

What these cover

This site, our applications, our game servers and our community spaces. Using any of them means you accept the rules below. If you do not accept them, do not use them.

All of it is free. We charge for none of it today and we sell nothing.

How to behave

• Be decent to other people. Insults, harassment and discrimination have no place here.
• Stay out of places you were not given, other people's accounts and our systems.
• Do not load the service so heavily that it stops working for everybody else.
• Do not upload anything unlawful or anything you do not hold the rights to.
• Do not evade a moderation decision by making another account.

If you find a security flaw, please tell us before you tell the world. We are grateful for findings that help and we will not come after anyone for reporting one, as long as you did no damage and did not go through anybody else's data on the way.

Accounts

A STYGION ID is created through somebody else, and you have no password with us. What happens under your account is your responsibility, as is keeping that other account secure. You can delete yours at any time, yourself.

We can suspend or close an account when these rules are broken repeatedly, or when the law requires it.

What you make

What you build, write or upload stays yours. You give us only what we need to show it, back it up and run the service. Deleting it ends that permission, except for backups already taken, which expire on their own schedule.

What we make

The name, the logo, the writing and the design are ours. Parts of our software are published as open source and carry their own licence, which takes precedence over this text for those parts.

Security and reporting a flaw

Everything we publish for download is signed, and it updates itself over a signed channel, so what arrives on somebody's disk is what left here. We keep the supported version current; when we withdraw one, the launcher and the panel say so and offer the way forward.

If you find a security flaw, please tell us before you tell the world: first on Discord,or by email at [email protected], so the report does not end up in a public room. Say what you found and how to show it. We are grateful for findings that help and we will not come after anyone for reporting one — as long as you did no damage and did not go through anybody else's data on the way, a thank-you is all you will get from us. We will tell you when the fix ships, and name you with it if you would like that.

Availability

We keep things running as well as we can, and we guarantee nothing. Servers restart, versions change, features arrive and some leave. When we plan a longer outage we say so on Discord beforehand.

When something goes wrong

The services come as they are. We are not liable for lost data, lost profit, or loss caused by something not working. None of this limits liability that cannot be limited by law — intent, gross negligence, injury, and the rights consumer law gives you.

Back up what matters to you. That is true here and everywhere else.

Moderation and appeals

Content that breaks the rules or the law comes down. If we remove something of yours or limit your account, we tell you why and you can object — write to us and the decision is looked at again by somebody who did not make it.

You can report content through the feedback button or on Discord. Every report reaches the same queue and gets an answer.

Law and disputes

Czech law applies. If you are a consumer, you keep the rights given to you by the law of the country you live in, and you can take a dispute to an out-of-court body such as the Czech Trade Inspection Authority or the European online dispute resolution platform.
