Chip in for the hardware

STYGION runs on hardware we pay for ourselves. A donation goes into the hardware fund and buys you nothing in return. That's on purpose: paid perks live in the VIP shop, and a gift stays a gift.

The hardware fund

All of STYGION runs on one laptop under a desk — the launcher, the panel, the documentation, the Discord bot and this page. The fund buys a machine that keeps running when nobody is sitting next to it, disks for backups that survive one drive giving up, and the domains and certificates that come due every year.

Before you give

Do I get anything for it?

No, on purpose. Paid perks live in the VIP shop, and a gift stays a gift.

Where does it go?

Into the hardware fund: the machines STYGION MC, this website and everything we test runs on.
